Annual conferences

Our annual conference programme provides an unparalleled opportunity for professionals and organisations working in the looked after children and care sectors to keep up to speed with new research, innovative thinking, policy and practice, and service delivery.

• The SIRCC National Conference is our long-running and prestigious annual residential child care programme, held in June each year.

• The CELCIS Conference, held annually in October, covers a specific theme for the looked after children’s sector.

Our events programme boasts a range of outstanding national and international keynote speakers, facilitators, seminars, workshops and discussion sessions, and offers sector staff the chance to hear all about cutting edge developments in specific areas of child and social care practice, to learn from latest research and study, and to find out about what’s working well and why.  

CELCIS speakers and event management
