Next Steps for The Promise
The Promise Scotland has taken the next step towards realising the ambitions of The Promise for children, young people and families in Scotland by launching (on 20 June) a new website to plan, record and share progress on delivery.
Plan 24-30 is an online resource which sets out what has been happening since 2020, what work is being done currently, what is planned in the immediate term and who is taking forward this work.
It is designed to offer a new approach to planning and implementation and builds on Plan 21-24. Plan 24-30 will be shaped in response to feedback and input from everyone involved in work to keep The Promise, and is mapped to key policy areas including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC).
The Promise Scotland intends to work with people and organisations across Scotland until the end of 2024 to determine how some of the ambitions will be worked towards. As this route map progresses, Plan 24-30 will be updated to track progress and what needs to happen.
