New resource helps young people get into further education

Care-experienced young people across Scotland have a fantastic new website which gives them loads of information on further education and the support they can expect if they go to college or university.

Become (formerly Who Cares? Trust), has launched Propel Scotland, an online resource for care-experienced young people, care leavers, and those who support them. Propel gives young people access and allows them to compare information on key issues that would affect them if they go onto further or higher education. It covers specific funding for care leavers and year-round accommodation and wants to see more young people with a care background enter further education, and finish their course.

Propel covers further and higher education, and compares course information from every further education college in Scotland and 94% of all universities in the UK.
