Consultation process for healthcare forensic medical services launched by Healthcare Improvement Scotland
The draft standards for Healthcare and Forensic Medical Services for People who Have Experienced Rape, Sexual Assault or Child Sexual Abuse: Children, Young People and Adults are now available to download from Healthcare Improvement Scotland website.
The consultation is now live and Healthcare Improvement Scotland is asking for feedback on all aspects of the standards. These standards apply to all services and organisations responsible for the delivery of healthcare and forensic medical examinations of people who have experienced rape, sexual assault or child sexual abuse.
Please note the consultation closes on Wednesday 13 September 2017.
The final standards, along with a summary of the responses to the consultation, will be published in December 2017 on the Healthcare Improvement Scotland website.
