Research: Study findings 

The study involved a series of online contacts with a panel of 26 managers with current or recent experience of managing newly qualified social workers (NQSWs).

These participants were asked to provide scaled judgements of ‘readiness’ or ‘preparedness’ for practice in different domains and to comment on a range of issues related to their training, preparation and ongoing support.
