We all want children and young people to be safe, active and happy. We want them to have fun outdoors and to keep healthy and fit.

Sometimes activities come at a cost -accidents do happen, however this research explains that being overly cautious can mean that that any enjoyment or benefit is lost. Protective measures must be proportionate to the risk.
