Anne MacKenzie is a Children’s Reporter who has been one of the leaders for the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration in the Permanence and Care Excellence (PACE) programme in Aberdeenshire, where the time taken to make permanence decisions has significantly reduced. She reflects on the impact of PACE on her work and that of those around her, and on the children they help.
