In this intitial evaluation, we report on the findings of setting up a pilot fostering project in Tajikistan.

Fostering as a concept and practice was largely unknown until recently. This report shows that there is a shift in changing mindsets where fostering can provide much better outcomes for separated and vulnerable children.
