Our Director, Jennifer Davison, responds to the Public Petition Committee

We respond to Petition PE1596, which calls on the Scottish Parliament to protect the In Care Survivor Service Scotland.

We believe that there are two specific issues which need to be addressed in relation to this petition:

  1. The new Survivor Support Fund model which has been put out to tender by the Scottish Government and in particular the need for clarity about what this model entails.
  2. The future of In Care Survivors Service Scotland beyond its current period of funding.
