Dr Nikki Luke, Research Fellow at the Rees Centre for Research in Fostering and Education at University of Oxford presented a keynote at the CELCIS Education Conference and here she discusses her talk. She prompted us to think about the individual differences that can impact on a child’s attainment at school and highlighted that care can, and in fact should, be a protective factor.
