Protecting children during COVID-19

Protecting children during the COVID-19 coronavirus public health emergency

Child Protection Committees Scotland is urging everyone to keep their eyes and ears open for children who may be at risk of harm, abuse or neglect during the COVID-19 coronavirus public health emergency. It’s now more important than ever for members of the public to speak up if they’re concerned about a child or children.

If you’re worried, don’t hesitate to contact your local authority social work department - you can find details by clicking on the link here - or call the police on 101. If you think a child might be in immediate danger you should contact the police right away by dialling 999.
