Protecting Children

Welcome to the Protecting Children area of the CELCIS website

We are keen to ensure that information and resources on child protection, and related areas, are accessible to support those across Scotland, and further afield, who are working to ensure that the lives of babies, children and young people are protected from abuse, harm and neglect.

It is important to us that this information is also available and accessible to young people, parents and carers, and also to those studying to work in the many professions that work together to support, prevent harm and protect Scotland’s children.

Our aim is to provide or link to current resources, research, policy and other relevant information in a Scottish context, while also ensuring that helpful international related material is available to support the wider child protection community.
